Meet Therapist Lauren Gallitto.
Lauren works with adults, adolescents, and children.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and grounded in evidence-based practice. I am an EMDR therapist in training and integrate a variety of therapeutic interventions to support the unique and diverse needs of each client. My practice draws from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness.
I am a licensed social worker and therapist. I earned a Master of Social Work degree, with a certification in trauma-informed practice, from Case Western Reserve University. I primarily work with children and adolescents. In my work with children and adolescents, I strive to create a safe and supportive space that fosters trust, curiosity, self-expression, and individual strengths. I use creative and developmentally appropriate interventions to help clients process their experiences, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of self. My approach emphasizes building emotional awareness, improving communication skills, and supporting healthy coping and connection within families. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, domestic violence, ADHD, emotion regulation, coping skills, and self-esteem.
I believe that healing happens in a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace and build skills that help them feel more empowered in their daily lives. I value meeting clients exactly where they are and walking alongside them as they grow.
