About our practice
Larchmere Center for Well-Being (LCW) is an inclusive and dynamic private practice in Cleveland, OH. LCW serves individuals, couples, and families with a focus on trauma and supporting clients to live fully expressed and robust lives. While clinicians in our practice treat a broad spectrum of issues, we believe understanding and repairing trauma is at the core of healing and transformation. Established in the fall of 2020, LCW brings together a small group of clinicians in a collaborative, supportive, and affirming environment. Therapists work out of newly rehabilitated offices in two historic buildings in the heart of the Larchmere Neighborhood.
Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist
Job Types: Contracted part-time (ideally 15 billable hours) and full-time (ideally 22 billable hours)
We are currently seeking a full-time and a part-time therapist who has experience working with a wide range of backgrounds. While independent licensure is preferred, LPCs, MFTs, and LSWs are welcome to inquire. We currently have an IMFT-S & LPCC-S available if needed. Certification, training, or interest in EMDR is a must! This is a contractor position and compensation is based on client load and client and insurance payments. Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Licensed Social Work (LSW or LISW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT or IMFT).
A minimum of two years experience in a behavioral health setting is required with comprehensive knowledge of practices sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and counsel patients.
Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
Proficient in basic computer applications including Google Workspace and TherapyNotes/EHR.
The ability to concisely document clinical findings and patient needs in an electronic medical record
Interest and ability to practice cultural humility
Responsibilities:
Provides therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and/or families.
Utilizes specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments and treatment plans.
Conducts consultations with new clients. This includes collecting insurance and payment information for verification process. Note: insurance verification is conducted by our billing department.
Processes paperwork, telephone calls and completes clinical documentation
Participates in monthly practice meetings and optional EMDR consultation/Peer consultation
Develops relationships with professionals in the field to increase visibility and opportunities for collaboration.

Established in the fall of 2020, LCW brings together a small group of roughly 10 therapists in a collaborative, supportive, and affirming environment. Therapists work out of newly renovated offices in two historic buildings in the heart of the Larchmere Neighborhood.

Work Location:
Our office is in the Larchmere Neighborhood in Cleveland, OH. Therapists also have the flexibility to meet with clients remotely from home for virtual sessions.
Compensation: Pay is based on client caseload as well as client and insurance payments. Therapists typically earn between $55 and $90 per session. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
